Reservation Process
Once you decide on your dates and I have confirmed availability, I will populate the contract with the specifics and email it to you for review. If there are no mistakes or areas for discussion, you will print the contract out (all 3 pages), sign and date it and return it to me via USPS along with a personal check or bank check for the non-refundable deposit.
When I receive it, I will countersign the contract, scan it and email it back to you for your file/future reference and mark out your dates on the calendar as reserved just for you and your reservation is now confirmed.
Thirty days prior to your arrival date, the remainder of the rental balance is due to me via personal check or bank check.
About 2 weeks prior to your arrival date I will mail the house keys to you through USPS along with some written information about the house and area you may find helpful.
Because of our reservation process and not accepting electronic payments, it is difficult for us to agree to a reservation request made less than 30 days in advance of your arrival. The exception is if you live in the Raleigh area, we should be more likely to accommodate your rental request.
